How to Store Raw Pokemon Cards in Qatar’s Climate

Qatar’s climate makes stable indoor storage more important than expensive accessories.

Sleeve in layers

Use a clean card-safe inner or soft sleeve before placing a valuable card in a binder pocket, semi-rigid holder or top loader.

Never force a card into a tight sleeve and replace dirty or damaged protection.

Control the environment

Store cards in an air-conditioned interior space away from windows, kitchens, bathrooms and exterior walls that become hot.

Avoid parked cars and direct sunlight, even for a short period.

Manage humidity safely

Use sealed storage boxes and monitor the room rather than placing unknown chemicals directly beside cards.

If using desiccant, keep it separated from card surfaces and replace it according to its instructions.

Handle and inspect

Wash and dry hands, hold cards by the edges and use a clean surface.

Inspect periodically for sleeve clouding, warping, moisture or pests.
